If it is something that has worked for me since the very beginning it is Social Networking. Social Networking, Social Media in general, has opened the door to a whole new kind of "word of mouth". Word of mouth - once only shared with a very small group of people - can now be pushed to hundreds, thousands, and even millions of people.

What I find interesting is how many people claim to be social networking and social media coaches, just because they have a few thousand followers on Twitter. They immediately think they are social media experts. In fact, as much of an expert I am at social networking, I don't provide social networking services, I provide social relationship building solutions.

Anyone can hook up a social networking robot to their social networking account (Twitter for example). As long as they are patient eventually they will fill up their follow list with followers; respectively. Not following the norm such as providing some sort of content & design can gather nothing but other robots.

It's expediency, obtaining relevant contacts, and applying genuine relationship building skills to the process is what one needs. When clients work with me, they get the full process.
