Building that Personal Brand
Even though I am online often – using social media and social networking to build my personal brand – just know that in between all that I am busting hump and making things happen. You do need to take time with family, but you must also work as hard as you can to get what you want. You have to work even harder if you are a personal brand.
Being a personal brand doesn’t always mean you have to go into something thinking you must start some small business either. You can build a personal brand that you use in simply glorifying your collective skills. That is why I started building my personal brand. Before you think about building a business brand, think
about ways you can start building your personal brand first. You must become an expert at what you do, and do whatever it takes to learn up. Knowledge-share on social media and social networking outlets, buy software, tools, and courses, take classes, and do what else is necessary in researching your ideal professions as a personal brand. Run yourself threw some trials before risking your business brand reputation, the cost in incorporating your business, taxes, payroll, and all that.
One suggestion to personal brands, though, is to be careful of the grind. You do not want to burn yourself out. Like me, most personal brands have in the past or are currently in the process of burning that candle at both ends. Chillax… Are you desperate to make it as a personal brand? Don’t be. Get a job if you are running out of money and work on your dream role as time goes on. You would be surprised how things unfold.
